Default starter prob

ok newest problem now. i know the starter is bad, it has power but the solenoid isnt engaging into the flywheel so it just sounds like -- not a grinding but a high pitched like squeel i guess you could say. can i jump the solenoid just to get it started and get home.i tried getting under there and hitting it but could not get to it. ill try more after work but i just wanted to know if theres another option. or should i call aaa. lol

Get a friend to pick you up a starter and change it in the parking lot

Just take a screwdriver and thouch the B terminal of the solenoid (top) to the motor (bottom) terminal of the solenoid. If it doesn't start than the starter is bad and the only way to get it home without replacing it is a tow or a push start.

ok so when i was gonna leave work on friday i tapped the starter and it moved. the problem was the starter wasnt even tight.but i just replaced all the injector seals and caps and resealed the upper and lower gaskets. it should be running nice. i still have to get the upper gasket though.
