If I am reading this correctly that is 797.63 per head.... AFR's are 1375.00 for both... So that is not cheaper... I'm not knocking your suggestion just trying to figure out if 200.00 is worth the possible performance gain for a product I have heard of for the first time tonight.

I must be a retard... I am reading this stuff to say for 1300 i can have a set ofBARE RHS heads. OR I can pay 1400 and have a complete set of 185 AFR's. Am I missing something? I guess what you are trying to say is for more money I can get better flowing heads than AFR's?

I just had AFR 165's put on my stock bottom end 302 along with a Flowtech Inductioncustom ground cam and the Edelbrock Performer intake I already had and the car makes alot more power than it did stock.
I still need to tune it better but it runs strong.

I dont know why everybody is against the AFR's now- when I was looking into getting a set of heads in the spring everybody was recommending the AFR 165's.

nobody's against them. there are new companys all the time. when one company becomes "name brand", they become expensive, while other not so known companys have proven better heads for cheaper. that is all.
