Default Nitto Drag Radial Help

I am running 275/50-15 Nittos on my 92 Mustang. My previous tires were BFGs and they were absolutely awesome. I had 60's in the high 1.50s to low 1.60s every pass. The Nittosare much better on the street than the BFGs were but on the track they suck. I have tried different tire pressures and burnout techniques but nothing seems to help. If I do a very light burnout and keep tire pressure about 13 is when they do the best butmy 60's are around 1.70-1.75 which is way off of the BFGs.Is anyone else having this problem? What should I try now, a new set of BFGs?

I have a set but I don't like how they make the car feel when I run a quarter. When I get above 100 mph the car wobbles bad. I had a set of Hoosiers and it did the same thing. The BFGs had the same 60's and were very stable on the big end that's why I changed. Looks like I need to change to them when I go to the track.

I have tried that. I drive my dad's Nova which runs 140+ mph with a 522, a Jerico 4 speed and 14x31s on 7 psi. Yeah I guessI had made up my mind to get rid of the Nittos before I posted.
