Question about slicks
My question is should I spend the money on some draglites for a set of slicks or should I just use my stock rims.
I have a 1995 Mustang GT. They guy who had it before me put the rims from a 98 cobra the car. I love the rims I got now but i dont want to run street slicks all the time. I'vegot the stock rimsandI could putsomeslicks on them butdidntknow ifit would be worthit. Let me knowwhat you guys think.
Thanks
Ben

RE: Question about slicks
IMHO, anytime you can cut the wieght of the rotating mass it's all good,
Helps things like reaction time, 60' and of course ET.
Just look at NHRA race cars, any of them. They are all on lightwieght wheels, from stock eliminatoe on up.
There is a reason for this............

RE: Question about slicks
a couple of things to look at
1) what size do you want ? wider then 10 1/2" and they will start to roll on you from too narrow rim on the stocker
2) do want all 4 ??? or just the rears
3) you can get 4 draglites w/ cheaters on them used for typically $500 so look around
