Default What Carb

OK folks i have a 1992LX 4 bangerthat is going thru a v8 swap. here is what is goin on. 306 with reqorked and stock bottom end with the exception of forged probe pistons. Windsor Sr heads. 2.02/1.6 fully ported and polished and port matched to a victor jr intake. Trans is a AOD with PA internals, 2800/3000 TCI stalland 4:10's out back. I am new to this so i want to getsome input onwhat you feel isthe best CamCarbto add. Oh it will need to be a flat tappet. I really dont know the CR but 60cc chambers and flat top fly cut pistons.

a 650 double pumper should work fine....it'll give you throttle response you want but you'll have to get the kick down linkage kit to adapt to the carb so your kick down works right and proper throttle pressure is obtained on the tv cable as far as cams go...too many opinion out there to even dare answer that I'll keep mine to my self as far as off the self cams are considered....but a safe response is check out a custom grind

I think a 670 street avenger would do good. They are vacuum advance.

Either one would be good IMHO.
If the car is street driven mostly, use a vacumn seccondary.......

I have a 670 street avenger for sale. The carb isgood but one of the bolt holes on base plate is broken but i have another plate for it. If interested PM me.
