so i should go with a C&L since they can be calibrated. then later on i can just upgrade the injectors?

no... you are better off with a lightning maf, and a dyno tune... with 42# injectors
C&L MAF's are complete garbage... dont EVER buy one

You need to buy a MAF caliberated to your injectors or have it tuned and a chip made to make your setup work, best option without a tune would be aftermarket.....look at summit. Then when you are ready to upgrade(you are already) buy a new matched set(or just do it now...like Adder said and use the LMAF)
