Default Flowmaster catback- hits everything

Am I the only one with a Flowmaster Force II catback that clangs and bangs and hits everything under the car?
The over axle part hits the axle, especially when decelerating and theres rubs/digs in the pipe from doing so.
The other parts of the pipes seem to hit the body or something under the car.

Ive got the catback bolted up to a BBK X pipe but the pipes also hit with a MAC H pipe.

Im just going to take off the tailpipes and run dumps for now although I really like the looks of chromed tips on an LX but I just cant stand the noises from hitting.

Is there another catback that fits better?

mine hit the floorboard and rear subframe on the pass side. driver side is fine.

i kinda angled it a bit and it helped a little.

the collectors on my h-pipe come very close to the firewall/frame also.

im auto so the setup may be different

Mine's an auto too.
I had a few exhaust shops look at it but they said they couldnt bend it so it didnt hit.

i dont see how this is possible.
if the pipes, esp. the midpipe, were installed correctly, everything should hang perfectly in the stock location, unless you bought pipes with bends where there isn't supposed to be bends.

maybe your hangers aren't 100% anymore?

I just got under the car and moved the exhaust around a bit with a prybar.
It was close to the rearend.

My hangers are fairly new- they have Ford dealer stickers on them.

did these exhaust shops put the car on a drive on lift, or was it a 4 post body lift.

One was a 2 post lift and the other was a rack type lift.

Even with a jack in my driveway I could see the rub marks where it was hitting.
