Default FI to Carberator

I have a 1989 5.0 LX the plan is to build a carberated motor for the car. When I do this install is there a different wiring harness that I should use or just wire everything with wires/power that is already under the hood. What problems or snags should I be prepared for? I want to eliminate as much as possible for a clean look.

i'd use your current harness and eliminate all the wires that did not need to be hooked up. it took me some time but i got it done on my II and the harness looked much better when i was done. plus you will find any bad spots in your wiring so you can repair them before you have electrical gremlins later on
