Default Any experience with the Crane HI-6S igniton?

I was looking at the Crane HI-6S Igntion Kit for my car, 94 5.0 with a few bolt-ons. Does anyone have any experience with this kit? It comes with the control, the PS91 coil, and the wiring. After reading a write-up about it on another site, it sounds like a worth while addtion for $180. It also allows you to set up a rev limiter. What do you think?

i havent heard anything bad about it. personally i picked up mallory coil, i wanted something different than MSD because ihear lots of problems with them. so i was gonna go with mallory or summit....i thoguht about summit because their specs are just as high or higher than most ignition parts, just not sure on quality. i figure not waste money on it since it doesnt look like any other products on the market, i only pick up summit when i know what its a copy of.

The Summit Ignition control looks to be the same as the Mallory HyFire 6AL. A comparason chart in the Summit Catalog show they have the same specs, at least.

Who ever has an ignition system(Summit, MSD, Mallory, Crane, etc), what do you think? Also, I have some 9mm FRPP wires, would those work well with a multi-spark set-up?

Yeah, the Crane kit comes with what you need for a basic igntion upgrade, and that probaly what I stick with. What does anybody thing about the Crane HI-6S on a car with a few bolt-ons, worth it, or wait till it is modded more?
