what size tire/backspacing combo
To fit a 275-15 in the rear of a 92 4 lug what backspacing would I need so that it would fit perfectly. Im also going to put drag springs in it as well. I know it needs to be a 8" inch rim but the rims I am looking at (jegs sport lites) have a 4.5 and a 5.5 backspacing. Which one is best. Also I have 3.73s and I dont know if i should go with the 275-60s or the 275-50s. I dont want to have to tall of a tire. What size tire are yall runing on the front for a 15x4 inch rim.

RE: what size tire/backspacing combo
with a 15x8 wheel, you want a 5.5" BS if you have a 275 tire. get the 275/50, you dont need a 60.
here is my car with a 275/60/15 in the rear and a 165r15 (metric radial) front tire

+1, 275/50/15 with a 5.5 backspacing is what I have, works great, I also removed my quad shocks when I upgraded U/L control arms

I believe the quad shocks helpstabilize your rear wheels, but they are cheap and 20 years old... once you upgrade your U/L control arms you have no further need of them
