Trac Lok Clutches?? help..
so. i am puttin a 3.55 gear in my car and i was going to replace the clutches in the rearend while i had it apart and bearings and all that. anyways.. i saw 2 diff sets of clutches for my 8.8.. one was like a stock replacement. and it was like 75.00. the other set was some Carbon Fiber crap or somethin.. let me know what you think about the carbon fiber ones.. if they are worth the 50.00 more.. or if not.. is there anywhere you know to get the stock replacement clutches at for less than the 75.00 i found? thanks.. I'd still like to hear from anyone who has tried removing the friction material altogether and just running metal to metal in the trac-lok.
