hey all, if i bought myself some longtubes, what are the chances of me being able to put them in myself w/o jacking up my engine?IS their such thing as an x-pipe for longtubes?</P>

not much chance with long tubes...i hear its been done with shorties. as for the x pipe...i think all of em are the same...just make sure the size matches.

If you go with longtubes you have to get an h or x pipe to match. The mid pipes for longtube headers are a good bit shorter. As far as being illegal, its mainly because they require an h-pipe replacement which your not supposed to do unless your stock one is damaged.
