Default fuel pump

if i want to install an inline fuel pump do i have to disconnect the in tank pump or will they work in conjunction?

They will work together but why not just put in a larger pump in the tank,do you need a bigger pump or is the pump in the tank not working?If you put an external pump on you will need to wire it up with a relay and everything,by the time you get done with that it would've been easier to drop the tank and install a 190lph pump.The intank pumps are also quieter.
