Default clutch help plz

i just installed a new clutch in my 92 LX how do you adjust it? right now it is too tight if i have it in gear and clutch pressed all the way in it still creaps forward when i give it gas not to mention it wont shift i mean it wont go into gear when driving and i know its cuz it is too tight but anyway i guess all im asking is how do you adjust it my haynes book isnt helping me its kinda confuseing lol but thx for any help yall

you can get an adjustable cable or a firewall adjuster if the stocker isn't cuttin it

get the kit from steeda, its 116 bucks shipped. i just had to buy one cuz i stretched my stock cable. you can probably install it yourself. kit had the adjustable firewall, adjustable cable and the quadrant.

push the pedal all the way down then pull it all the way up with your hand so you feel the click

you dont have to push it down first. i had to buy my adjustable cable because mine was already adjusted all the way out. once a cable stretches its probably just gonna get worse anyway. id just buy the kit.

i think it has an after market one (adjustible) it was on it when i got it its blue i think it was the one from jegs but how do i adjust it? just twist it?
