ya i got your pm and i replied. This puts me in a bad spot since i dont have the money for anything big.
who says it'll cost you alot??? first I'd like to drain fluid and run it through a paint filter and see how much if any metal shavings are in it.....then remove front retainer carefully and input shaft as to not drop needle bearings down in the case otherwise she will have to come apart....if it's what I think.. it may only take an hours time to repair all of it and a few beans for parts..don't be scared

if you want...bring it over tommorrow and I'll look at it and be fair at fixing it for you....you can purchase parts and bring them to me once we see what it needs... should know in a matter of 10-15 min what it'll need
Your mainshaft tip could also be pitted, which made my input shaft sloppy. The only way to fix this is remachine the output shaft on a lathe and convert to a z spec input shaft, or buy a new output shaft. Just thought id throw that in there
