Heh, not getting a 4" cowl are ya?
And if so, are 17x9 Cobra R's in your future too?

Getting rid of your cowl and 17 inchers?

You have seen the light. Wait till you see my drags,
Hah, good one.
Cowl and 17's stay
May opt for some lighter rims tho, wonder if they make a lighter version of the 95 Cobra R's
They do, they are called 16 inch Cobra R's.

Dont know, unsure about the whole rim situation at the moment.
Need to get my priorities done first.
Engine and tranny will be out within a couple days.
Today I removed basically all my accessories, unbolted upper manifold, nitrous lines, vac lines blah blah, removed radiator, unbolted midpipe, starter, clutch cable, speedo cable, tranny.
really only thing i have left to do is unbolt the driveshaft and motor mounts and it's prime for takin out!

But once I do get all my new crap in there, next step is to save up for a new rear end. Possibly convert to 5lugs too and get new rims.
Going to stay with 17's, the draglites are nice but eh... why?

I know man im just breakin your chops, let me know how that 6 spd rides!

Around here nobody has draglites, most never even seen them, nevermind having any 5.0's around. When I got the front tires mounted on the rims today, everyone in the tire place was trippin out when I was rolling them out, asking me questions and stuff,, hehe I cant wait!

TKO600 isnt a 6spd...
It's ok tho, but that I will about the new tranny.
Wondering how this Hurst shifter is going to feel tho...
The guy I bought it off of (nitrostangracing) place said it basically came free w/ tranny.
So screw it, gonna try it out and see how well it is compared to the Tri-Ax

Ohhhh I thought they were 6 spd......you think a 5 spd would work better in a 5.0?

Does the TKO help in anything else besides being able to handle more power? I know the gear ratios are very different, but how does that work out when your driving it over the stock T-5
