ok thanks guys i also forgot to add, my car has headers of soem sort, and a mac catless h pipe, dyunomax flowtubes and borla mufflers, i will deffinately look into the bigger carb and intake..thanks alot guys, also, my tranny sounds like a roots supercharger 1st through 3rd at 1000rpm to 3600rpmish...anythign to be worried about?

]Oh no, lets not start all of this again. You DO NOT need a bigger carb. 600 cfm is plenty for a 302, you could just upgrade to a holley 4160 (i'm assuming you still have the factory carb) because the stock carb is a bitch when it comes to tuning and getting extra parts.

The sky is the limit in your case.
What you have is sort of the 'old school' thing.
It'll cost you a lot less money to build a carbed car than an injected one.
I'd stay with the 600 cfm carb until at least the heads/cam get on it, then if the rest of the drivetrain is right, you could go bigger.
Stock intake needs to go away..........

does the 85 have flat top pistons like my 86? anyone? i dont think it does so actually ur less limited than 86 and no speed density stuff to contend with either hers what u can do to a 85 look at this car
