RE: 95 Mustang Power Steering drops RPM
Ill try putting new fluid in there. When you say clean the intake, do you mean the rubber tube going from filter to engine? And if so clean with soap and water? Just want to make sure Im doing it right. Also, are there any tests for power steering pump?

fluid doesnt look that great, was thinkin maybe I should do a flush? What do you guys think? And if you know how to do it(i.e. if there is a drain plug, or do you just unhook a line...) itd be much appreaciated.

Ya my 94 has the same problems. The engine has even stalled a few times when i was stopped and turning the wheels to park. Mostly though it just drops to like 500 rpms and stumbles a bit and quickly catches itself. I have an new pump to put in and I also replaced one set of bushings (cant remember what they were called) on the steering rack because I get lots of feedback from the road.
Any other things that you guys can suggest to help with making the steering better?
