Tie Rod removal

RE: Tie Rod removal
You can improvise if you don't have a fork.
Byhammering on the side of the tie rod hole of the spindle and beat on the tie rod stud, many different ways without the fork.
If you have never done it or had someone show you how to do it without the tool I suggest you rent one from the parts store or just buy the tool. Somehardware stores have auto tools for rent as well.
You can get a fork that you hammer no air hammer needed.
I have a Lisile Tools (sp)set that has two forks and twoarbours, one for use with an air hammer andone for use with a hammer.
I think I paid $30. for the set.
