why not just get a 351 based dart block and go big bore? can't you bore dart block out like .125"? you'd have a better rod ratio, the possibility of higher rpm and would prolly be able to get more mile out of it. just a thought

That sounds like a good combo, you could use a BOSS 302 block for that ci as well. Custom cam for turbos, Call Turbo People and ask them what they recommend for your setup. Keep us posted on how it goes.

i have the heads and intake already. i'm in the army and stationed in okinawa japan right now so i'v just been building my parts for when i get back to the states can't wait to get back to my stang. i want to stay with a a 302 based engine. i'm going to get the block and turbo kit when i get to the states shipping stuff here is crazy. i seen another guy with this combo with a x cam and he made 700rwhp so i'm hoping for somewhere around there with my combo. and his had plenty of low end. what custam cam place should i get the cam from?will the boss block be able to go to a 363 if so that would be nice its cheaper.

Yep....302 Boss block can handle .125" overbore..... for the camshaft, you may want to check Camshaft Innovations ..... you could either define the rest of the components you're going to use and have a custom cam made, or also have them help in the configuration of a great combo to fulfill your goals.

thats a lot of **** for 600hp i think you could easily do it with a 347 go with afr 205 and a pony down stage 2 kit. people i have seen with a turbo on a 302 hci make 500 easily with like 10# of boost

well 600rwhp is the goal but if i get more than that that would work too.when i get back to the states i should have about all the parts together. because the guy that made 700 i think he was a 14psi and he had a 302 stroked to 358. but thanks for all the imput.

oh yea i have a 70mm throttle body right now. will this work or should i go bigger?
