ok here we go again it starts fine idles for a couple of second and dies. then when it is running you touch the gas and it wants to die and when you let off it goes back to idleing fine for a second and dies. any help please i am lost guys

i had a very simmilar problem and couldnt figure it out for the life of me. took 2 weeks.. its my DD too.. ugh luckily i had my motorcycle..

it ended up being my coil. i had an MSD blaster coil that was only a year old. it still gave spark but i guess it wasnt strong enough. swapped it out to a stock one and it ran mint.

when i touched the gas lightly it would slowly rise in rpm but if i gave it alot it would just cut out and pop out the exhaust and die. it idled like crap too and wouldnt stay running for long either (used lots of carb spray lol)

i thought it was fuel for a while but its not that (i replaced the filter and the pump) changed the ignition control module on the dizzy too and it wasnt that either.. (took it off and returned it lol)

find a buddy w/ a 5.0 and swap coils to see if it helps

ok i will try that thanks with a bad coil wouldnt you get a code or something. eec test show bad voltage. maybe this is stumping me really bad guys. i checked fuel pressure at the schreader valve with the key on it has pressure. went through and checked electrical connections. thanks for any help

oh ya true i forgot about codes. i got a 31 (low evp voltage). do you have any?

i have codes 95 and 96 and that is it. i cant figure this out and it is my daily driver now. Any thoughts at all would help guys.

possible fuel pump or ful pump relay check your fuel pressure and voltage at fuel pump also check inertia switch in trunk but if i'm tellin you this you probably don't know how
