Man there's so much on this topic in this forum it's not funny. I just did a search for it yesterday and got tired reading through all the responses. Definitely more information is going to be required. Here are some of the possible causes:

1. Harmonic Balancer
2. Spark Plug Wires
3. Spark Plugs
4. Timing

There's a lot more as well.

1. Does it happen at idle also?
2. Does it happen at specific RPMS?
3. Any mods done to the car?
4. When was the last time a tune up was done?

I can go on and on....do a search on "vibration" in the 5.0 section.

mine did the same only when driving, turned out my harmonic balancer was shot. take a look and see if u can see rubber sliding out (towards engine). it didnt affect my idle but when i got on it i def felt like my hand was holding something ready to explode.

I had one that did the same thing. The shifter would vibrate so violently it would actually hurt to hold it. I had replaced gears recently and had some play in pinion gear. I corrected that problem and went ahead and replaced my rack because it was leaking and my inner tie rods were shot. The problem was 100% solved after doing this, but i did them both at same time so not sure which was the actual problem.
