Default car won't start please help

Ok just tried taking my car out of the garage for a mid winter drive, car wouldn't start. It's an 1989 GT engines stock w/ CAI i turn the key to start it and all i hear is a continous clicking from the solenoid. I tested the ignition coil, replaced the starter and solenoid is good, car still won't start. The only other piece i didnt check is the ignition switch. I'm not sure if the ignition switch would stop the car from starting with a push start so if anyone knows the answer to that question that would help. I checked all the connections and wires and they looked good as far as i could see. Anyone have an ideas? Thanks in advance

battery is good and also did it while being jumped. When i tried to push and pop the clutch 2 start it, it sounded like it started as far as the exhaust goes then just died, would a bad igntition switch cause this?

so you have a no crank condition?? if so you can test the lead to the selonoid that is powered by the ignition.....it is the small wire with the little elbow on it that attaches to the selonoid...with the key in the crank position it should light a test light = hot in crank and not hot in the koeo mode

take the cable that goes down to the starter and touch it / jump it to the allways hot / batt side of the selonoid
