Default Clutch Pedal

So i dont know if anyone remembers my thread awhile back about the small whineing noise from the tranny. but that went away but i also mentioned a vibration from the pedal....welp i now know that the pedal isnt sitting where its supposed to. The pedal is up too high and when i "rest my foot on it" it sets it back to where its supposed to be mountd at. now my question is how do you adjust the pedal??? i have a new clutch cable in it if that makes ne difference.

Have you tried lifting up on the clutch pedal to reset the quadrant?

if you just changed the cable you'll have to reach under the dash and try to manually reset the quadrant..I had to do this once or twice on mine when it over racheted with no cable hooked up...it's worth a try

There is a little rachet tab under there and it's held against the teeth vis a spring pressure......push it open and pull up on the pedal..Iusually have to stick my head up under there to see it

I have yet to try that, but I do plan to do that in the spring time when the stang is out of hibernation.
