get someone to press the clutch pedal while trying to put it in, the disk may be misaligned a little bit

the clutch cable is not hooked up im doin a aod to t5 conversion still need help

have you tried rotating the transmission just a little? good luck.

yeah i wiggled the tranny back and forth up down just does not want to go in

hook up the cable and press the clutch pedal

Maybe you should try putting the trans in gear (4th gear would be the best). Rotate the transmission input shaft from the yoke slightly back and fourth. Input shaft teeth might not be lining up with clutch teeth.

Yep, uauslly I slip the driveshaft into the tranny and then while wiggling the tranny, have someone twist the DS back and fourth until it slides in. It is a PITA I know, been there many times.

Sometimes I walk away from it for a few minutes, have a beer, and try it again. It seems to work better that way.
