im selling my original AOD tranny from my 5.0. the tranny was rebuilt and has been sitting around since 2001. now im selling it for 500 CDN but the buyer brought up that over 6-7 years seals ect can be worn out and such. the tranny has been kept with oil in it so i think it should be fine. what do you guys think.

sounds like the bum wants to beat you into the ground!!!!...tell him to replace the tailshaft seal and pump seal...and once it's in add some conditioner and or perform a trans flush!! it'll be fine mine had been sitting for 5 plus years when I bought it and it worked fine...but then I converted to t-5 = more fun on the street
