Default BOV for my powerdyne supercharger

So i have a 1990 hatchback gt that is powerdyne supercharged with 9psi. Currently i am running a botsh or whatever bypass valve but i want to change it to a blow off valve to vent into the atmosphere. My mass air is before my supercharger so if i went to a bov my car would run rich for a moment i know. BUT, my question is if i did change to a blow off valve, what is the worst that would happen to my car? could i blow valves or something? I really want the blow off, but i dont know if i will end up hurting anything... will I?
