you mean like "bars leak"??? my dad is old school and he swears by the stuff but me if there is a leak I like to fix it right and fix it once......but whatever floats your boat use it...bars leak is good..but some of those sealers can be like glue and end up doing more harm than good by clogging the system up if used in excess...what's the worst that'll happen if it doesn't work?? you'll have to pull the heads which you may already be in line to do[:@]

K&W head gasket and block repair worked on my old 84 Camaro. It takes a full 24 hours to set up, which if you can afford the time, it's good. Worked wonders for me, you can buy it at Schuck's and probably other places. http://www.midwayautosupply.com/pm-1...oz-401232.aspx

I don't know about the silvercan K&W but the green bottle worked for me. I guess it depends on the severity of your blown head gasket too, whether or not sealants will work.

Aside from head gaskets - Bars Leaks rear main seal worked on my 87 GT....great stuff.

if you want to try a sealer go for it. i dont trust the stuff it clogged my water pump when i used it to seal up my heater core. ended up replacing the heater core and the water pump so its really up to you

its not a huge leak in the head gasket as far as i know i get moisture in one exhaust pipe, and smoke coming out the same one, and slowly lose coolant. so im think i might try it this weekend just hoping for the best.

i'm not sure about head gaskets but it sealed my WP pretty well. i broke 1 bolt by the water passage on each side of the water pump and bars leak is hold just fine. i'll probably fix it when i install the 331 into the car.

yeah i plan on fixing it correctly but but need a quick fix for now until i have all the time to tear down the engine and what not because im going to be getting heads i beleive when i take the engine apart so its not going to be torn down until summer and cant afford to buy coolant every week until then
