evaporator removal???

Default evaporator removal???

O.K. the heater core isout, but I don't see how to remove the evaporator? It seems to be molded in???

you can either spend alot of time spliting the case like I did once and screw it back together but work instructions say to cut top for removal I believe

I looked at instructions on Autozones website and it shows to cut the top. After looking at the box, that shouldn't take much time at all.

Also I was told that Ford no longer offers the evaporator, but they do offer the heater core. I was also told the the same company, Prolaince, is making both of these items for the aftermarket and OEM. Does that sound right??
