Default Timing belt or chain

Alright I have a dumb question Does a 91 Mustang 5.0 have a timing belt or chain? What I see around the net is chain. I don't know. Reason I ask is because when I sit at a light or have it parked and in neutral the rpm's will gradually go up to 2000 then sometimes stay there or gradually come back down to 1000 all by itself. No gas input what so ever. What could possible issues be? I was told timing may be one, dirty injectors, I don't know. Any help would be great.

I doubt it's a problem with the timing chain......could be a vaccum leak and or dirty maf and or a IAC motor that is bad or needs cleaning

Okay I found out it's not the MAF. I cleaned it, put it back together and then after running it alittle while it started doing it again. This time not all the way to 2000. Tommorrow is the idle air control. Thanks greenstreak9205 for the heads up.

Any ideas if this doesn't work? I'm trying to think of where to begin looking for a vacuum leak. Thanks in advance.
