engine knock

Default engine knock
i get an engine knock at extremley low rpms, (like when i bog the engine down to 5 or 600 rpms)


is this normal.... or is a timming issue?

why the hell do you bring it down to 500-600 rpms... **** i idle at 900-1000

Yeah, don't bog it. It's meant to idle down that low, not be driven that low.

bump the idle and be concerned about a knock at normal idle and or driving speeds

well no i have a feeling my timmings off and was just checking something else when i noticed it, i idle around 1100-1200 actually since its so cold i cranked it up a little

I don't think I've ever been able to make my car run at that low an rpm.
