Default Seat Belts

I was wondering if anyone had problems with there seatbelts locking up. I have have to keep on pulling and releasing tension on them to be able to get them out far enough to buckle and I have this problem on both front seats.

Is there a way to fix this or do I simply need to buy new belts?

Thanks!

usually its just the opposite. these belts seem to go weak in the recoil spring and end up getting loose across the chest.

have both those problems actually,
just giving a tug fixes the loosens problem,
mine dont always recoil on there own, u have to open the door
and as far as locking up, isnt that triggered by pulling hard(thus simulating an accident)

Just buy new ones. I wouldn't even try to fix something like that... safety you know.

I'm leaning towards just buying new one's, but at $350 for the front belts, it's not cheap. Any idea how hard they are to install?

I have to pull over and over again, not always hard, but I have to keep tension on it, and eventually I can work the belt oput, little by little.
