crankin up fuel psi..
hey, i am about to do a hci swap in the next few weeks with my cobra intake, gt40 heads, and b303.. i was wondering. i asked a while back about whether or not i should use 24# injectors or would my 19's be fine. alot of ppl said to go with the 24s. if i did that i would either have to have my ecm recalibrated somehow or get a aftermarket maf to trick the ecm. what i am wondering is.. what if i put a adj. fuel press. reg. in and turned it up a little bit.I was lookin on the megasquirt website and I found a calculator.. similar to this: http://www.csgnetwork.com/fiflowcalc.html anyways, if I run my stock 19#ers and crank the fuel psi to about 55 instead of 43.. my fuel injector flow rate would now be 21.3 My question would be.. how would the computer act?? any differently? and.. wouldnt this be fine for keeping my engine from running to lean with my mods? let me know what you think.

I am a foxbody guy but from what I have seen from friends 94+ cars when they start modding them hci etc. is driveability issue so like said above just geta tune after your done and not worry about it.

go a head and crank up the pressure I have been doing it for years on our cars and customers as well I have never had any problems. But it will put more stress on the fuel pump due to the pressure increase but it wont kill any thing at all.

ill have to agree with uedlose but, in the long run your going to be happier with a good dyno tune because you will be using your engine to its full potential but bumping the pressure will work until you get to doing a dyno tune.
