I wouldnt give them a choice but to return them with a full CASH refund. Make sure they don't pull no credit BS. I would return them, even if they could be OK. I would just return them and get a new set just for the piece of mind.

As for going from 3.08's to 3.55's.... no comment

Like i said before it said on the sales slip that sold as is no returns but when i told my uncle he said that because they never told me about not being able to return that i should make a stink and see what they do.

I would do whatever I could to get the money back. Especially if they sold you a defected item! Even if you didnt really want to take them back I would just to see if you could get away with it

No question, take them back. I don't care what it said on the slip, a defective item should not be sold to a consumer, PERIOD! Point out the chips, find the guy at the shop that saw the defects when you bought them originally, and if they will not give you money back, tell them that you would like store credit so that you can buy a new set of NAME BRAND gears.

do you think that the 3.73 arnt going to be to steep for a DD i mean i do some highway driving and i did not want to completly kill my gas milage or is there not that much of a difference between them?

well i just called them and they told me that it was no problem to just bring them in and i oud get a new set but i cant deside between the 3.55 or the 3.73 and again it a DD

not trying to dogg you or anything but were you running consistant in the 1/4 with that 4/10 cut off estiment? cuz ive had people tell me they've done this and that and it did this to them in the 1/4 but then later i do what they did and find out it didnt help me out much. and i talk to them or thier friend and i find out they didnt run consistant 1/4. again... not trying to disrespect. just curious cuz if 355's will cut off 4/10 of a 1/4 hahaha thats my next mod!!

and since ive already been interested in gears... thanks to bob i just found out that i have 2.73's. anybody know what rpms youd be at during 70mph? cuz i drive about 40-70 miles on a highway everyday... and mine will be a dd. and from my post before if gears really make that big of a difference.... crazijames went from 3.08 to 3.55's. would i be getting much greater 1/4???

i have 3.73 and i drove about 300 or more on the highway every month goin too and from school and my gas mileage sucked before i got them and stayed the same after lol no difference with the gas mileage but BIG improvment in acceleration, i vote for 3.73's
