Mine did the exact same thing when I first got my car. After taking out my gauge pack and the gauge things and cleaning them and messing with them all it took was pressing the gauges into the backing a lil extra hard. It snapped together a tiny bit more than it had before and I have not had a single problem since. *knocks on wood*
