Default Stock Tach broken...

Its not working obviously. But when I crank it up it goes to about 4k and pretty much stays there. But when I get to high RPM the needle moves towards redline, but it never goes below 4K. Just wondering if its fixable and how to fix it and if theres anything that I can test to see whats wrong or whatnot. Any ideas, or should I just get an aftermarket tach? Thanks,

I figured it was time to get a new tach anyways. I'll probably just called Florida 50 and get all autometer gauges. Thanks anyways guys.

True on the accuracy part, but large auxiliary mounted tachs and shift lights look very tacky on a street driven vehicles. It'd be nice to have an accurate gauge with a stock look.

That digital replacement cluster looks pretty neat.
