Firstly it is very cold outside seems how it is winter in New York State. But I am having some very out of the ordinary problems with the mustang. Before you say any of these I already put in a new distributor cap, rotor, stator, spark plugs, fuel filter, engine coolant sensor, ignition module and checked the fuel pressure and yes I can hear the fuel pump. Somewhere between putting the stator in and and doing the timing it started! It would idle fine and I thought I was good to go. Turns out I was very wrong I brought the car home and put it in the driveway and woke up today to try an start it and it would just sit there turning over same problem I had before. Then I made sure to mark the distributor and turned the distributor cap clockwise a little bit turned the key she fired right up. I turned it back to where I marked it and it would idle there just fine (10 degrees). I brought it out on the road and shut it off and then again it wouldnt start up.. What is going on here??

Sounds like you dont have the timing set right. been a long time since i did timing on a car but when you checked the timing did you pulla tab out? It should be near the distributor i believe.
