hey does anyone have a saleen wing on a hatch? my wing only has 6 holes and i have 12 holes from the stock wing.none of the holes match up? did you people have to patch the holes or did i get a wrong wing or something ? i have a 91lx hatch

You got the right wing, yes you have to fill holes, unless you can find a older non-wing hatch to drill.

Saleen wings are direct bolt on for GT's only

ohh i see so if i got a gt hatch it would work? but id still have to fill in the holes. hmmmmmm

it should be a DIRECT bolt on for a GT.... meaning NO hole filling.

Yes the saleen wing will work on the 87-93 gt hatches without having to fill any holes.

I have the Saleen wing on my GT hatch and the hole did not match. The only thing close was the back holes. I had to drill out holes and fill in others. And yes It was made for the GT hatchback.

I have a 1990 lx, and I took the stock spoiler/wing whatever you wanna call it off. I bought one of the saleen wings and the holes werent close either. Like mentioned above, I had to fill all the holes from the stock spoiler, and bondo the whole damn thing, prime it, paint it, then I made a template off the bottom of the saleen spoiler with the holes in them, and used them to drill the hole locations for the new wing. I had to lay the wing on top of the templates, and the trunk and line it up where I thought it looked right. Then I took the wing off the templates and drilled the holes. Inside the hatch, I also had to drill new bolt/nut access holes. Some holes I had to adjust a little and all in all, it was a pain in the ***. I'm glad its over with. It does look great. Here are some pics. I dont have a hosting site, so they arent that big.
