I have a question about turndowns. I have a set of magnaflow mufflers, bbk shorty headers and an x-pipe. I was thinking about turning them down in front of the rear end and I was wondering if anyone knew how loud this would be or if anybody would even recommend doing this to a 88 mustang gt.

Depends on if you like fumes(some say it is worse than what others say)and how loud your like the interior noise.

i slp loud mouths dumped before the rear end, and let me tell u they're loud .....they get annoying after awhile

Yeah you get alot of interior noise and vibrations, the tone gets deeper. Really unless your in dead stop traffic and its a dry day you wont notice fumes, even that I dont notice it. Unless im just so messed up off them that it i can tell. ahha jk. Oh and the smog guys get pissed cause its harder to get the probe in there, but thats what they get paid for.

well gas fumes would be bad...for get your radio...I have done this on my older Mustang...gas fumes sometimes you cannot smell...you kinda get used to it...not good...after awhile the noise gets old....fast cars can still have quiet exhuast.......why ask for trouble from the law????
