Default x303 cam

i picked up a explorer motor with the gt40 heads(1996)for 200$ then i found CHEAP x303 will it fit without notching the pistons anyone know"?? i plan on putting this in my cheap 1995 gts i just picked up[8D]

it probably will fit, but you would be stupid to NOT check PTV anyway

Well anthing larger than the F303 says right in the listings to check the clearance, that is why I said that.
That seems to be your standard paste and copy response.

The X-303 is the "improved" version of the B-303...... same valve events, same duration, same overlap @.050" with added lobe lift.....even though I still have to see one that doesn't clear for PtV using Ford iron heads....... it's always best to check. And total valve lift has nothing to do with possible PtV problems.
