Default Rear end

Which would be better, an 8.8 rear end out of a mustang for $250, or an 8.8 out of an explorer for $100? Does the explorer rear end have to be modified (shortened) or will it fit into place?

exploder rear end will not work without modifications. the control arm and shock locations will be wrong
