How strong is a world class T-5 transmission? I found one that is about six years old and has just been sitting (never installed)

the t-5's that came in v-8 stangs were all world class, with a hp rating of 280-300, my 347 broke 2 stock t-5's and a ford racing t-5z.

as long as you have a clutch that slips a little, you should be fine for a while, the t-5z took me 2 seasons to break, with around 500rwhp
