Default CAI vs. FIPK

Is the CAI way better than the K&N FIPK? I have the FIPK for my stang which just sits in the engine bay where the old air box went. I payed like 140 for it and I think I'm regretting that. Also, if I want to get a bigger MAF, will I have to change out the CAI or FIPK, or does it fit like stock?

It fits like stock, but you will need to get new injectors to go with the MAF.

You sure, I think that I could get by with 73mm MAF and stock injectors?

I've read numerous places that if you change out the MAF, it is recalibrated for certain injectors. Just make sure that it will work with your injectors, 19lb stock i believe.

I have both for my '95. I don't really notice a difference between the two, just that the CAI looks nicer (it's chrome) and doesn't pull air in directly from the engine compartment like the FIPK. Also I have an 80mm MAF...and I got the FIPK to work on it by using a black stove pipe cap (6 in. daimeter) it's not as thick as the k&n base plate but it works well enough. Just drilled out 4 holes for bolts and the big hole for the MAF itself.

Does this all mean that my stock 95 GT doesn't have MAF? And if it doesn't, whats the best way to get the most horsepower with my CAI?
