Default 5 lug conversion ?

Will the 5 lug set-up off a 2001 Mustang GT work on a 87-93 Fox?

Yeah it will, the front calipers are PBR 2 piston which are better than the SN-95 single. Honestly If the whole rearend is in the car I would snag that, rear disk plus im sure the gears are better too. But ide go to SN95brakes.com and it will show you everything to grab and what you will need to do it.

the rear out of a New Edge is going to be WAY too wide for your car.... stick to the ranger axles/drums for now

the 99+ axles will not work, the bearings dont ride in the same place on the axle and they are way too long, if you used the whole housing it would still be incredbly wide. the 96+ front spindles will work fine, i also used the strut out the 01 i took parts from because the spindle is shorter than the fox. the stock strut one runs out of travel. the spindles increase your track width by 8mm, im running a 8 in wide cobra wheel. it looks great. i just used axles out of a 94-95 car. this also will increase your track width but works fine. you can pull off a 9 in wheel in the front and back with the right offset and back spacing.

I'm in the process off doing the same exact thing, using 2000 fronts and just from putting it together and fitting stuff up the strut extends way past where it bolts up to the knuckle. I have to push it up to get the holes to line up for the bolts. I also have Lakewood front stuts, though I just thought of. And the car is on jackstands being supported by the control arms.

I was thinking of putting some 2000 struts in so I don't have to make 1/8th inch shims on each side of the knuckle because the 86 knuckle is 1/4" thicker.
