I currently have 3:73 gears with a T-5 im looking into putting 4:10 gears in my car now my question is at the end of the 1/4 mile about how many rpm's would i be at? the reason I ask is because I dont want to have to goto 5th while doing the 1/4 mile

it'll depend partly on your tire size being used too

I just put my 4:10's in this week and all I say is WOW. I still have the stock AOD, I'm sure I'll end up with a 5spd in it soon...

yeah but an AOD needs 4.10's cause it's first gear ratio is 2.40 vs 3.35 in most t-5's..so 4.10's are to an AOD what 3.73's are to a t-5..in comparisson

Yeah I agree but I've drove a few that have 4:10's and lower and they sure are fun with a good 5spd. Remember don't fear the gear... haha

I highly doubt you'll be shifting into 5th in the quarter unless you have a really radical setup, even with the 4.10's.
