looking at tremecs t5 trans...is this the same gear ratio as stock borg warner t5

tremec t5 IS a borg-warner t5

tremec bought the rights and now makes them
and yes thats the same gear ratios, they change very little year by year but only in the hundreths, not tenths even

oops my bad, thats a t5z you know right ??? like a '93 cobra ?

stock t5 is a 3.35 1st w/ the rest being close

Stock T-5 is 3.35 first and .68 5th, you are looking at the T-5Z. It is rated at 330 ft/ib's of torque as factory was 265. It has better gears and synchros and a steel bearing retainer. I love mine, if you have higher gears in the rear it is great. You get about 5mph more out of first and you tach less in 5th. I got 3mpg more with this tranny on my last trip to N.J.
