ford hyd. lifters are fine.
the stock style water pump is fine, just get a new one.

i spent 2,100 at the machine shop this time and last time, same motor, but i put it together the first time w/ out checking crank endplay...big mistake!
anyways a brandnew short block from ford strokers is like $1,900, thats rotating assembly and all! i spent that ALONE with out the parts!!!

remember, a stroker motor needs a new balancer, 28oz, and a new flexplate/flywheel also 28oz
if you get a balancer that does not specifically say if it will work w/ out using a spacer, u will need .950 in spacer, mustangs unlimited had mine for 30bux, summit and jegs are back order for infinity. the spacer was ford racing.
I spent 1900 locally for a 347 shortblock....no need for a crate shortblock

I don't know why all you guys say no u/d pullies, they don't hurt sn95's at all and alot of guys say they help the engine rev faster

dont put the trickflow top end on a 347

no king cobra clutch
+39483987...... dont go with what they say 360hp is BS.... as for a clutch a spec stage 3 would be nice... also tranny upgrade would be needed.

If your going to build a stroker get a 90mm lmaf, the stock on sn 95 cars is 70 as it isand 75 wouldnt be enough for a stroker, i got a lmaf from blue oval for only $85 on my kb 302 and works great, but you will have to get a tune afterwards.

I think I'll go ahead and get the overdrives. I'm putting a 200 amp alternator in, soo that should resolve the charging issue with them rather easily. What is wrong with the trickflow kit going on a 347? Also, what is a LMAF? Is it a large MAF? Then should i get a larger throttle body? What needs to be done to the Transmission?

lmaf is a lightning mass air meter, basically you could put the trickflow kit on a 347 but the cam wont be enough for the displacement neither will the heads unless you get some work done too em.

Ok so I could port and polish the heads, but where does that leave me with the cam?
