I recently installed a set of Scat rods and I went with the floating version. Much easier to put together if nothing else. The option only cost me $10, and saved me more than that at the machine shop. After shopping, I found my best deal at CNCMOTORSPORTS.com. I got a full set of Scat rods, balanced and matched for $195 shipped.

I certainly like the idea of a full-floats. Its the DIY way to go. But if you're going to have a machine shop balance your rotating assembly, and you already have press-fits, then there isn't really a reason not to reuse them (unless they're bad or something).
