i would like to make this my introduction post to say hello. i am from utah and love it here. the weather isnt so great most of the time but its manageable. i am 22 and have been a wrench from 14. did some 4x4 work and love it but its time to go faster. my brother has a 68 notchback. its nice. i am getting into engine swaps, and have done real good up until now.

first off the car is a 1986 1/2 LX, speed density, still
It has an engine from a 1992 cougar XR7,
and the fuel injection set-up is off a 1990 Mustang.

i have checked all the harness, there is one plug by the TPS sensor that I don't have connected. I think that is for the air meter on the MAF, but I'm not positive.

i ran a diagnostic with an analog voltameter and got a few codes, one was: spout circuit open, and the other: spout circuit grounded?

i have checked spark and its to the plug.

it does not have a schreader valve to check fuel pressure, but i think its getting fuel, i can smell it.

i tried to prime the oil system with out the coil wire and noticed, it arced onto the positive lead on the battery...

i really dont know where else to check,

Utah ehhh??? what part???........so what is the problem ...no start?? no spark???

well i have tried and cranked the hell outta it, but not even a friggen spudder.

fed it some ether, talk to it, nada. no nothing no start.

not real sure where im going wrong with it, i really would like to hear it breath by itself already.

yup were up north in lindon, 30 min from SLC

I lived in the Provo area for three years infact I bought the white 85 gt in my sig in Pleasant Grove..........anyway you probably don't have spark here is a link for a efi no start condition..go to the link at the bottom of the page where it says efi no start and follow instructions in the link
