AM I IN TROUBLE!!!
I bought a new intake, cam, heads for ect. for my 86. My car is not mass air, speed density is what it's still set up for since she's still stock. I keep hearin and read here and there that i should change it to mass air, is this true?? What will the car do once i put all this high performance to the motor, and should i really consider changing to mass air?

RE: AM I IN TROUBLE!!!
which comp xe cam?? 270, 274, 282, 292??? and you do know that 86 has flat top pistons with no valve reliefs and it is a very good chance that you will have ptv issues and ditch the bbk ssi intake..that is one of the worst choice you could of made.....and depending on the cam choice your set up may not work to well with sd[&:]

If this is the cam you bought.. then it ain't happenin' with sd!! the xe 270 would of been a better choice

RE: AM I IN TROUBLE!!!
I would.........or a speed density tuner but if you don't have the knowledge of the tunning tables..you'll pull your hair out or die trying...so the simplest solution for you may be a mass air set up to allow the ecm to do all your tunning for the most part
